How Consignment Works (4 Simple Steps)

2) Get Your Gear to Us
Ship your items or drop off at our warehouses in Pennsylvania or Missouri. We’ll point you to the correct location and share the right next steps for your shipment or drop-off.
3) We Do the Work
Once your items arrive, Guard Closet handles the heavy lifting: processing, organizing, and listing your items on our website, managing transactions, and promoting available consignment inventory through Guard Closet channels (including our podcast, On A Water Break).
4) Get Paid
When your items sell, choose the payout option that works best for your program: cash-out or store credit.
Why Directors and Instructors Use Consignment
- Make budget room fast: Convert unused inventory into funds you can put back into your program.
- Clear storage: Stop stacking props and gear that won’t hit the floor again.
- Help other programs: Consignment keeps great equipment in circulation and more affordable for schools and groups.
