Archbishop Wood HS (2000–2010)
For a full decade, Kim’s creativity powered Archbishop Wood’s color guard program. Her innovative movement design and choreography helped produce shows that stood out in the Philadelphia marching arts community. Known for bold staging and powerful performer training, her work during this era remains a touchstone for guard excellence in the region.
Pennsauken HS (2010–2019)
Kim’s work with Pennsauken HS is legendary. As part of the color guard staff, she helped produce shows that became unforgettable — especially the 2018 production “Let Them Eat Cake.” This show is remembered throughout both local and national color guard circuits as a true creative high point, celebrated for its artistry, humor, and cutting-edge design.

The Light, The Light Brigade & The Blackwatch
Beyond scholastic programs, Kim has made her mark in the independent guard community. She was deeply involved in the development of The Light Winter Guard, guiding the ensemble through WGI promotions and creative shows that showcased artistry and innovation. Her leadership helped position The Light as a rising force on the circuit.
Kim also contributed to The Light Brigade and The Blackwatch, two programs with respected legacies in the WGI circuit. Her creative input reinforced her reputation as a designer whose movement vocabulary and visual choices continue to influence performers and directors across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Downingtown West HS (2017–Present)
Today, Kim continues her journey as co-director of Downingtown West’s indoor guard and marching band visual program. Her leadership blends decades of experience with a modern approach, helping students excel while producing competitive and artistic shows.
