Guard Closet is pleased to welcome Hunter McDaniel to the design team for Guard Closet clients. If you are looking for Choreography for colorguard or band, Indoor Staging, visual design and more, Hunter can help!
Hunter’s passion for the marching arts is rooted in his Oklahoma upbringing, where he first stepped onto the field at Sapulpa High School (2012–2015). His time there was only the beginning of a remarkable journey that would take him across the country, performing and teaching at the highest levels of the activity.
Hunter’s performance career includes four transformative seasons with DCI’s *The Cavaliers* (2015–2018), where his leadership and dedication earned him the role of Guard Sergeant. He also graced the floors of WGI, performing with *Avant Guard* (2016–2017) and *Northwest Independent* (2019). These experiences showcased his artistry and set the stage for his transition into teaching and designing for the next generation.
In addition to his time performing, Hunter honed his teaching skills early on with the Bentonville High School marching band and their Open Class and A Class winter guards. His work there demonstrated his commitment to fostering creativity and technical excellence among young performers.
Hunter has also been a part of organizations such as *The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps*, *The Black Watch*, *Pegasus Independent A (NJ)*, and *The Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps*.
